LENGTH OF LEASE: The standard lease term in Tampa is twelve months. Seven to twelve month rentals are available , usually for an extra fee of $15.00 to $50.00 more per month. Three month leases are available at select properties for $100.00 to $400.00 more per month. Month to month leases are also available. Prices vary depending on location.  All month to month leases are furnished.

FEES TO EXPECT...

APPLICATION FEE: A non-refundable fee which the apartments charge to cover the cost of verifying the following information on your rental application; credit history, rental history and employment verification. Fees are usually  $25.00 to $50.00 per applicant.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: The deposit is refundable upon move-out, depending on the condition of the apartment. Most deposit amounts depend on the size of apartment you're renting and usually range from $100.00 to $400.00.

CLEANING FEE or ADMINISTRATION FEE: Non-refundable. Fee is due upon move-in. It is applied to the cleaning/redecorating of the apartment. Average fee is $150.00.

PETS: Most communities will accept pets under 25 pounds with a deposit ranging from $200.00 to $600.00 per pet. Larger pets are accepted at some communities. Also, some communities charge an additional monthly "pet rent" ranging from $10.00 to $25.00 per month per pet.

UTILITIES: You will have to pay for electric and water.   Local phone and cable TV is also additional. Basic phone service is around $30.00 per month and $40.00 for basic cable TV.

***** If you are moving here WITHOUT A JOB or UNEMPLOYED at the time you turn-in your rental application, many communities will charge an additional two to three months rent upon move-in. This doesn't include the above fees mentioned.

• The majority of apartment communities are unfurnished but we can help arrange rental furniture. A one bedroom package starts around $180.00 per month, two and three bedrooms a little higher.
